Main Role

Section 15.-

The Rules and Regulations Department shall conduct the studies, consultations, and draft amendments to the regulatory framework requested by the General Assembly, the Council, or the associates. All this with the intent of shaping a modern and efficient legal framework that supports INAP’s institutional development.

Powers and Responsibilities

Artículo 16.

The Rules and Regulations Department shall have the following powers and responsibilities:

I. Draft reforms or amendments to the Bylaws as determined by the General Assembly, or as suggested by the Council or the associates.

II. Harmonize the regulations to ensure consistency with the Bylaws in force. Submit to the Council any proposed reforms or amendments to INAP’s Bylaws, as well as any studies requested of the Rules and Regulations Department.

III. Accept and address inquiries submitted by associates regarding the interpretation of INAP’s Rules and Regulations.

IV. Incorporate into the Department’s draft proposals any adjustments deemed appropriate by the General Assembly or the Council.

V. Issue opinions and recommendations on legal matters related to compliance with INAP’s regulatory framework.

VI. Review reform proposals or amendments to the Bylaws submitted by associates in order to determine their viability.

VII. Hold consulting meetings with associates to gather their opinions and recommendations regarding potential changes to the Bylaws.

VIII. Submit draft amendments or reforms to the INAP’s Bylaws to the General Assembly for discussion and, when appropriate, approval.
